INFORMATION HOUR HELD BY MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On February 17, the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs ran the “Hour of Information” meeting with the media to give information on some matters.

A participation was highlighted of the Minister L.Purevsuren in the 52nd Munich Security Conference, which took place this February 12-14. Mr Purevsuren had held bilateral meetings with officials of some countries to share views on a preparation for the 11th
ASEM Summit that will take place this July in Ulaanbaatar.

The Munich Security Conference is an annual conference on international security policy, it has been taking place since 1963. It is the world’s largest gathering of its kind. Over the past four decades, the MSC has become the most important independent forum for the ex-
change of views by international security policy decision-makers. Each year it brings together some 350 senior figures from more than 70 countries to engage in an intensive debate on current and future security challenges.

The meeting concerned the issue of interests of Mongolian citizens abroad and of the preparation for the ASEM Summit.
