Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the sidelines of his visit to the United Kingdom, the Mongolian PM Ch.Saikhanbileg met with the Prime Minister of the UK David Cameron.

Mr Saikhanbileg said his visit aims at increasing the investment volume, and asked his counterpart to support the British companies in operating in Mongolia.

Mr Cameron promised his government’s support for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.

After this, the PM received the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Mr Philip Hammond.

Mr Saikhanbileg said that, aside from intensifying the economic cooperation and public diplomacy, the cultural relations need to be enhanced for Mongolia and the UK. He also stressed that Mongolia gives a priority to the economic matters and attaches a great attention to attracting foreign investments.

After this, the two dignitaries touched upon the matters of regional cooperation, trade, economic relations, tourism, student exchange and educational collaboration.

Mr Hammond expressed a support for Mongolia’s candidacy to the United National Human Rights Council.
