Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the Presidential Office P.Tsagaan Tuesday received a delegation headed by Mr Michael Matthiessen, a principal advisor in the Asia and Pacific Department of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

They exchanged views on a preparation for the 11th ASEM Summit which will run in Ulaanbaatar in 2016. Mr Tsagaan said 44 hotels have become ready to receive guests with their full guard within a zone, set by the ASEM rule. Then the sides discussed high-rate hotels such as chains of the “Holiday Inn”, “Sheraton”, “Shangri La” and eco hotels for high officials.

The sides also touched upon issues of the accommodations, their furnishing and security, conference halls, translation system, the guard system for Presidents, and media. A training has been organized for officials and workers who will receive the guests, Mr Tsagaan noted and proposed having here a group of experts who will ensure the preparation.

Present at the meeting were officials from the Presidential Office and the European Commission.
