The Sixth Mongolia Business Forum was held in London
Organized by the Mongolian-British Chamber of Commerce, the Mongolia London Business Forum, the Embassy of Mongolia has been held on 5 April 2017 at Bloomberg Headquarters in London. Over 180 representatives from public, private sectors as well as scholars and researchers have attended the Forum.
Among the presenters were Mr D.Davaasuren, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr Neil Saker, IMF Resident Representative for Mongolia. They have made keynote speeches on the current state of economy and investment environment, government policy and its objectives implemented to improve the investment environment as well as an overview on bilateral co-operation between Mongolia and IMF.
During the Forum, the Chairman of Mongolian-British Chamber of Commerce has chaired panel discussions on “Investing in Mongolia” and “Doing Business in Mongolia” which consisted of representatives from multinational mining and financial corporation i.e. Rio Tinto, London Stock Exchange, EBRD.
From Mongolia, Chairman and founder of Deloitte Onch auditing company, Director of B2B and the CEO of Thomas Air LLC shared their experiences and thoughts on business opportunities and conditions created for the investors.
